Instead of continuously buying and trying expensive facial products, this week we have decided to try one of our DIY tips and share it with you!
2 tbspn crushed yellow lentils (dal)
1 tbspn sandalwood powder or 1 tbspn green tea powder
1 tbspn yogurt or milk
1 tbspn rose water or more; depending on the consistency
Mix everything well and store it in the fridge for 10 mins. Wash your face and pat dry. Apply the mix on a clean face and leave it on for 10 mins or until its 50% dried off. Damp your face with milk or water and scrub for 15 mins.
Best used a little cold. You could do this 2 times a week for clear and good looking skin!
TIP: Crush the lentils in a mixer into small granules. Do not make it into a smooth paste. Make sure the particles are small enough to be used as a scrub.
