Fuller’s Earth powder ( Also known as Multaani Mitti )
Neem leaves paste/ Neem Oil
Tea Tree Oil
In a mixing bowl, add 2 tablespoons of fuller’s earth powder and to that add 1 tablespoon of neem paste or 1 tea spoon of neem oil, 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil, 1 tablespoon of cucumber and tomato juice each and lastly 2 tablespoons of rosewater to make a smooth paste. Add more rosewater if required.
Mix everything well and keep in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Wash your face and pat dry. Apply the mixture and keep it on for about 15-20 minutes. When you think it has dried, wash off the mixture and wipe your face with a clean towel. Put 2-3 ice-cubes in a clean muslin cloth and pat it gently on the area where you see redness or swelling. Continue to do this for not more than 10 minutes. Let your face get back to its normal temperature and apply aloe vera gel evenly instead of your normal moisturiser.
To be done 3 times a week.
Fuller’s earth deeply clean pores and draw-out oils and sebaceous fats below the skin. Also lightens ‘dark spots’ and leaves your face toned, clean and clear. Neem contains anti- fungal and anti- bacterial properties and is a boon for people with sensitive or oily, acne prone skin. It helps clearing acne, prevent breakouts and get rid of whiteheads and blackheads. Tea tree oil also helps clear acne, redness and irritation. It acts as a cooling agent that allows acne to settle down and reduce any rashes or swelling. Cucumber juice helps fade freckles, improves complexion, tightens open pores, soothes and softens skin. Tomato juice helps in getting rid of tanning, counters discoloration of skin, helps in treating and preventing acne, shrinks open pores and regulates secretion of sebum in oily skin.
If it fits your taste, drink a glass of neem, cucumber and tomato juice with a dash of salt and pepper. One glass everyday will show improvements in skin gradually and you will love me for it!
